The Optimal Diet was developed by Polish medical doctor Jan Kwaśniewski (pron: yan kvasnevsky) almost 40 years ago.  He made some significant discoveries while conducting a nutritional research that let him heal thousands of patients whom other doctors were simply not able to help.

Dr. Kwaśniewski has also invented a microcurrent generator that treats malfunctioning organs locally and does not affect the entire body (unlike when applying medications, that usually do some good things to the target organs, while harming the other ones).

He founded several clinics where he treated patients suffering from the worst symptoms, and was educating them about the Optimal Nutrition to combat the illnesses and stay healthy from then on.   He had also managed to educate a few doctors about his methods of overcoming diseases and illness prevention who have set up their own practices and now successfully heal patients on their own.

Despite the official studies of Optimal Nutrition that have proven it as 100% harmless and beneficial to a majority of the tested patients, and Dr. Kwaśniewski's numerous extraordinary achievements in curing "hopeless" cases, until very recently he received a cold shoulder from medical and scientific authorities at home. They were afraid to admit the inferiority of commonly preached theories, anonymously recommended treatments and widely practiced procedures.  Presently there are not that many attacks aimed at the doctor himself, or those who share his ideas.

Dr. Kwaśniewski authored several books on the subject and managed to find a publisher who was courageous enough to print them.  Two of those books have been translated into English.
The books outline the causes and mechanisms of various illnesses and illustrate the dynamics of immune, digestive and energy systems in the human body.  The principles of the Optimal Diet are described along with detailed instructions on how to follow them.  Everything is backed up by real life examples that Dr. Kwaśniewski has encountered during the course of his remarkably successful medical career.

An impressive number of illnesses can be combated by the patients themselves upon following the advice printed in those books; however, some of the treatments that may pose a health hazard when not followed precisely are to be conducted only under the close supervision of a doctor who is well versed in the treatment intricacies.

The Optimal Diet is not very popular yet.  Virtually no marketing is done (except word of mouth), as there is no need to buy or consume any elixirs or medications in order to fully benefit from it.  It is suitable and beneficial for everyone as there is no age restriction.

It's hard to imagine the effects that a mass following of this Nutrition model would have on many important industries and our lives.  Many enterprises would be shaken and many systems and beliefs forced to change.  It is going to be very interesting to see all the positive repercussions as the Optimal Diet becomes more and more popular, and personally I am very excited about witnessing that.
